If you have a car that has steadily degenerated into being a total piece of junk, you have a few options. You can pretty much forget about any kind of trade-in value towards a new car but you can consult a service to help you haul the old clunker away - and earn some cash in the process!

Even though Cash for Clunkers is over, you can still make money on that junk car of yours even if it's not running. Instead of dumping your old car or letting it rust in the driveway, get rid of it in any of these four ways and make some cash.

Getting rid of an old broken down car can be as simple as donating it to a charity that accepts old vehicles, or you can junk it yourself and make some pocket money. Keep in mind that different salvage yards have different rules, so you'll need to know what they are to get the best deal.
