What do aspiring NDs need to enroll in these courses in naturopathic medicine? While no two programs are identical, it is recommended that prospective students take prerequisite courses in college-level algebra, chemistry, biology, physics, and psychology, among others. Typically, to apply to doctorate courses in naturopathic medicine, candidates should have a minimum academic background equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
