As with all holistic medicine colleges, naturopathic medicine schools place an emphasis on health and wellbeing of the “whole” person; it is this concept that educates NDs to diagnose and treat the whole person and not just the disease or health condition. Naturopathic medicine schools base these teachings on this specific principle and how to use noninvasive methods to prompt the body’s natural healing processes.
