A standard wireless camera can be installed above the front door and have a range of about 45 to 60 degrees so they can easily capture the image of any person approaching the front of the property. The camera must be connected to a power source directly if they want 24 / 7 coverage. Some models can be powered with a lithium battery to be completely wireless, although this will depend on what level of coverage they want. This camera link wirelessly to a receiver inside the house, which also must be connected to a power source.
